02Data we process
We only process personal data to the extent necessary for this website and our services:
- Contact form and email: the information you send us – such as your name, email address, phone number, subject and message
- Technical data when you visit: IP address, date and time of access, page visited, browser and operating system
03Purpose of processing
We use your data for the following purposes:
- answering your enquiries and handling orders
- providing, securing and improving this website
- complying with legal obligations
We do not sell your data.
04Legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on Art. 6(1) GDPR: your consent (point a), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (point b), legal obligations (point c) and our legitimate interests (point f), such as answering enquiries and operating this website securely.
05Disclosure and transfers abroad
We only disclose personal data where necessary: to service providers who operate this website on our behalf or deliver our emails, or where required by law. Which services are used on this website and whether data may be transferred abroad is explained below in the section “Services, cookies and analytics”.
06Retention period
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. As a rule, we must keep business records for ten years.
07Your rights
You can request information about your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, withdraw your consent and request a copy of your data. Where the GDPR applies, you can also request the restriction of processing. To do so, write to us at info@sob-i.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU.
08Services, cookies and analytics
This section lists the services that are actually used on this website.
Hosting of the website
When you visit this website, the server delivering it processes technically necessary information: IP address, date and time, the address requested, and your browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website is operated on our behalf by a service provider.
Visitor statistics without cookies
We count the use of this website with our own privacy-friendly measurement. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and assigns no identifier. Only aggregated daily totals are stored: pages viewed, the type of referral (such as a search engine, a referring website or a campaign), the device type, clicks on phone numbers, e-mail addresses and buttons, scroll depth and page load time. Individual visits or persons cannot be identified from this data.
The measurement script is loaded from the server of our website service provider and reports the figures there. Your IP address is transmitted for technical reasons but is not stored together with the figures. The figures are deleted after 400 days at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form and enquiries
If you contact us via a form, we process the information you provide (such as your name, e-mail address, phone number, subject, your message and any images you attach) in order to respond to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The enquiry is stored by the service provider that operates this website for us and may be forwarded to us by e-mail. We keep enquiries only as long as necessary to handle them and to meet statutory retention obligations.
Newsletter
For the newsletter we store your e-mail address and the time you signed up in order to send you the newsletter (consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time; a short message to us is sufficient.
Services that require your consent
The following services are only loaded once you agree in the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without your consent they do not set any cookies.
- Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland): manages and loads measurement and advertising services and in doing so transmits technical information such as your IP address to Google.
These providers may transfer data to the USA. For this they rely on the EU-US and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Embedded content from other providers
Content from other providers (appointment bookings) is only loaded once you confirm this on the respective placeholder or allow “External media” in the cookie settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Only then does your browser transmit data such as your IP address to the provider named on the placeholder. The provider may set its own cookies and may also process data outside Switzerland and the EU.
Your choice
We store your decision in your browser (local storage, not a cookie) for a maximum of twelve months so that we do not have to ask again on every visit. You can change or withdraw it at any time.
09Changes
We update this privacy policy when our data processing or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page applies.
